The island fortress of Corregidor, is a 1-hour ferry boat ride, located 26 miles west of Manila. “The Rock” as it became known during World War II, was the last Filipino-American bastion to fall to the Japanes. Enjoy a guided visit to the usland’s many “silent guns” and historical landmarks. Be mesmerized by the Light and Sound Show inside the cavernous Malinta Tunnel, which served as General Douglas McArthur’s headquarters during the siege.
